Several European teacher trainings are concluding now, from May through August. Students study for 6-9 months, attending monthly trainings with TY teachers in from the local areas, and then conclude with a week-long intensive with a senior teacher from the US. »
The first teacher training organized by YOGA Austria-BYO (the yoga association in Austria)
began last weekend, May 16-18, in Vienna. »
Kaliji visted the TriYoga Center, Berkshires to celebrate its 10th anniversary, as well as
Mata JayaLakshmi Jayanti (birthday). »
Kaliji offered 2 days of programs in Santa Cruz, teaching Basics through Level 3 flows.
JayaLakshmi Mata Jayanti is the Vedic birthday of Mata JayaLakshmi. It also commemorates the day She left the body. Sri Swamiji celabrated the day in Mysore, while Bala Swamiji performed special pujas in Jayalakshmipuram.

Chandra is really amazing. Her personal story, her long-time teaching experience, her language full of imagery and precise detailed descriptions are really inspiring to me as a teacher. Plus the way she interacts with students to help them: so caring and reassuring.
